Update from your local officers incident on Woodcote Road

Good afternoon everyone,

While out on patrol in Wallington, I attended an incident on Woodcote Road, where a lady had unfortunately collapsed on the floor by the bus stop outside Tesco. 

I would like to reassure the community that she was immediately assisted by two officers who provided care until the Ambulance service arrived to take her to the hospital.

While dealing with this medical emergency, a man acting in a disruptive and abusive manner was arrested at the scene for causing a nuisance.

Our priority is always your safety and ensuring that those in need of help can receive it without interference. Thank you to the members of the public who were patient while officers worked with ambulance colleagues.
